Welcome to another episode of “The Movie Monks”. This time Paul brought the thunder in regards to movie-watching, breaking down a sizable handful of titles including Kevin Smith’s “Red State” and the Coen Brothers’ “O Brother, Where Art Thou”? Meanwhile, Nathan saw ROTPOTA again (for those counting, six times) and Michael Winterbottom’s “The Trip”, along with a hearty helping of Mega64 and regular television. Then its on to news where the monks discuss David Lynch’s fancy new nightclub, Brett Ratner’s obsession with Eddie Murphy and the pluses and minuses of resurrecting “The X-Files” yet again. That and some completely unrelated tangents involving chocolate rabbits, ice cream and the Penny Arcade Expo. Enjoy!
Once again, this week’s theme music is sampled from the Suburban All-Stars tracks “In the Can, In the Can” and “Some of the Real”.
